Terms of Service

    Last updated: May 18, 2026

Welcome to Chuck's Picks. By using this site you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

    1. What we do

Chuck's Picks is an independent directory of home service companies across U.S. metro areas. We are not a contractor, broker, or agent for any listed business. We don't perform the work and we're not party to any contract you sign with a pro.

    2. Use of the site

    • Use the site for personal or legitimate business purposes only.
    • Don't scrape, copy, or republish the directory at scale.
    • Don't post anything false, misleading, defamatory, or unlawful.
    • Don't try to break, probe, or overload the site.

    3. Business listings

Listings are editorial picks. We choose who to feature based on our own standards. Inclusion is not endorsement of any specific job, price, or warranty claim. If you own a listed business, you can claim it, request corrections, or pay for an enhanced profile. Enhanced profiles are clearly marked and don't change the editorial ranking.

    4. Accounts and paid plans

    • Keep your account credentials secure. You're responsible for activity under your account.
    • Paid plans renew on the cadence shown at checkout. Cancel anytime from your dashboard.
    • Fees already charged are non-refundable unless required by law.

    5. Hiring a pro

You're hiring the contractor directly. Verify any details that matter to you — pricing, scope, scheduling, and warranties — before work starts. Any dispute is between you and the company you hired. We're happy to hear about it, but we don't arbitrate.

    6. Content and intellectual property

Site content — including text, design, code, logos, and curated listings — is owned by Chuck's Picks or its licensors. You may share links to public pages. You may not republish substantial portions of the site without written permission.

    7. Disclaimers

The site is provided "as is." We try to keep information accurate, but we don't guarantee it. We make no warranties about any listed business's services, availability, or results.

    8. Limit of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Chuck's Picks isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or any contractor you hire through it. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months, or $100, whichever is greater.

    9. Termination

We can suspend or remove any account or listing that breaks these terms. You can stop using the site anytime.

    10. Changes

We may update these terms. We'll change the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, post a notice. Continued use means you accept the updated terms.

    11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state where Chuck's Picks is operated, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

    12. Contact
