Junk removal pricing went up again in 2026, mostly on dump fees. Most municipalities raised tipping rates, and several states added e-waste and mattress disposal surcharges. Here's where the average load lands now.

| 1/2 truck load | $325 to $500 |
| 3/4 truck load | $450 to $650 |
| Full truck load (16 cu yd) | $575 to $850 |
| Hot tub removal | $300 to $750 |
| Appliance removal (per item) | $75 to $200 |
| E-waste / TV disposal | $30 to $80 per item |

| Estate cleanout (full home) | $1,500 to $5,500 |
What changes the price
- Volume. Most haulers price by truck space, not weight. Compactly stacked piles cost less than the same volume sprawled out.
- Item type. Mattresses, tires, paint, electronics, and appliances all carry surcharges.
- Access. Stairs, narrow hallways, and long carries from the curb add labor.
- Heavy items. Pianos, safes, and concrete cost more because of crew size and dump weight fees.
- Same-day vs scheduled. Last-minute pickups usually carry a 10 to 25 percent premium.
- Donation routing. Companies that drop usable items at thrifts often charge a small handling fee, but you may get a tax receipt.
